We all have been there and done that. Everyone of us has had some bad experiences and some good ones. Just for this letter, I would love to share a memory with you. One which is bad and one which is good. Obviously, bad before good. I like to end on a happy note.
Bad.
Hon, do you remember the time when we met for the seventh time? On that day, you said a sentence which went on like: "I am a girl who is despised by everyone."
On that day, I was seriously confused between holding your hands and sharing a kiss or slapping you mildly and then explain to you that you are wonderful.
I chose the wrong action that day. I chose the latter and you left me. You had tears in your eyes and said some words which pierced my heart.
"Go and rot in hell, you bloody control freak."
Regardless to say, this words broke my heart. Shattered it into tiny tiny pieces which couldn't be fixed easily.
Good.
Who knew that my best memory will be of the time when I met you for the eighth time. Just after you left me, I started feeling guilty and regretted my actions. I only felt them after you had gone. I had chosen the wrong way to react and I had lost you.
But, I was a man of my word. And when I said that I'll grow old with you beside me. I meant it. I will only give up if I die. Not before that.
So, I went to a jewelry store and got a ring.
I rang you doorbell and you opened the door. You were going to smash it on my face, but I placed my foot in between.
I went on my knees and spoke the words,
"Girl, to err is to human. Sometimes, we all make mistakes which cost us a great deal. This once, I didn't wanna back down.
I wasn't going to lose the girl who stole the key of my heart from me and settled down there. I apologize for my actions. I love you girl.
Will you marry me?
And to that, she said yes...
You said yes. Angel, I love you.
I am never gonna leave you.
I will be there with you
