Look of the Day – This is an outfit that doesn’t go far from what I’d normally wear on a daily basis. If I had to choose, shirts and shorts would win by a mile over dressy clothes and itchy pants. Call this my (casual) uniform but the comfort it provides is beyond anything else. Would you agree with me on that?!
T-shirt, April Suits. Distressed denim shorts, OASAP. Boots, Fancy Feet. Backpack, Maxene’s Closet. Hue wayfarers, FLY Shades.
“Let’s run away from these lies
Back to yesterday, save tonight
I feel the sun creeping up like tick tock
I’m trying to keep you in my head but if not
We’ll just keep running from tomorrow with our lips locked
Yeah, you got me begging, begging
Baby, please don’t go…”
I’m down to this last set for the week. There’s this weird thing I do where I delay the post on my blog whenever I’m running out of ootd sets to share. I’ve been stalling for days now (go figure) because I feel like I have to shoot more outfits. It serves as an assurance that my next outfit post is confirmed. It’s a surefire trick and I seem to be doing it unconsciously.
I honestly don’t know if I’ll be able to give up denim shorts. Ever since I got out of a sticky life situation and reintroduced myself to wearing cutoffs and highwaisted ones ( especially those that are above the knee), I find it impossible to ‘not’ wear them. Obsessed and hoarder are two definitive words that best describes my shorty shorts delight. Teehee! Don’t judge, I’m making the most out of it while it is still age-appropriate. Please ask me again if I like shorts when I’m in my 30′s or 40′s, maybe that time I will address the issue differently. Lol!
Reppin’ a local shirt brand with a new backpack and sunnies to match.
I’m wearing the bright red-orangey lippie Steph gave me — Rimmel’s Kate Moss. It’s my new favorite shade of red next to Riri Woo.
Swapping my sling bag/sneakers combo with backpack/cowboy booties just to shake things up a bit.
Stay wicked!
