Leonardo DiCaprio bought a stunning (I know I use that word too much but there simply isn’t a more descriptive word) estate in Palm Springs and now he want YOU to stay in it! Too good to be true, right? Well, yes and no. He IS renting in (for $4500/night) so if you’ve got the cash- your next fabulous holiday is sorted. I love the idea of celebs renting out their properties, you could live like one if you had the means! Leonardo DiCaprio bought the estate from Dinah Shore and the entire estate just feels so elegant and vintage inspired, you would expect Frank Sinatra to walk in through the doors any minute. (And to be fair, he probably did, as the estate is in the exclusive Palm Springs are of Old Las Palmas that all the legendary Rat Packers had houses in, Frank included.) The house has obviously been re-vamped and re-glammed since Dinah Shore’s time (she was a very famous singer in the 1940s) but I love how they have kept the essence of the house. It’s all gleaming and modern and new, but in a funny way could be directly from the pages of Architectural Digest circa 1978. It has 6 bedrooms and 7 baths (most of the color coordinated as you’ll see below) and extensive grounds including a tennis court. A game of tennis, anyone?
