The beautiful location of the Stanze del re in Vittorio Emanuele Gallery is hosting an exhibition very unique: Leonardo in 3D. Have you ever tried to watch closely the codes of Leonardo Da Vinci? The beauty of those pages and their incomprehensibility to the normal minds goes hand in hand. This exhibition reveals and explains in an easy way the wonderful discoveries designed on the pages of these three codes. Furthermore it reproduces with the digital reconstruction or with some miniature models how these discoveries work. This brings us closer to the great mind of a genius that still astonishes the world with his discoveries and ideas. This exhibition is suitable both for adults and children. I have seen the children very captivated in these rooms. The exhibition simplifies the explanations making them easily accessible to the audience that cannot always knows all of them.
You can admire the pages of the Codex Atlanticus, the Manuscript B, the Codex of the Flight: all the codes are amazing. In one of these you can find the project of the time machine. This invention - ever built by Leonardo- has been reproduced in the miniature model so it has become a 3D extrapolation from the code of Leonardo. It is designed in the Manuscript B - that seems to have been written between 1487 and1490. For the sake of precision it is located on the pages 33v and 34 v. Leonardo was obsessed with the pursuit of the perpetual motion. An ambitious genius.

Do you love to decipher the message: you observe the page 881 v of the Codex Atlanticus (so named because the page is as big as an atlas). Look it carefully. You will count 54 objects designed in this page. Try to put them together with a careful reconstruction work. Do you know the result? Appear surprisingly the project of a submarine to your eyes. La splendida location delle stanze del re in Galleria Vittorio Emanuele ospita una mostra molto particolare nel suo genere: Leonardo in 3D. Avete mia provato a vedere di persona i codici di Leonardo? La bellezza di quelle pagine ma la loro incomprensibilità alle menti normali va di pari passo. Questa mostra svela e spiega in modo facile e minuzioso quali meravigliose scoperte siano riportate sulle pagine di tre suoi codici e addirittura riprodotte virtualmente per farne comprendere l’uso o fisicamente con modelli in miniatura. Questo ci avvicina alla grande mente di un genio che tutt’oggi stupisce il mondo con le sue scoperte e le sue idee. Luogo adatto sia per adulti che per bambini, che ho visto appassionarsi molto in queste sale, la mostra semplifica quindi le spiegazioni rendendole facilmente fruibili al grande pubblico ed avvicina a scoperte che il sapere comune non sempre conosce. Potrete accedere alle pagine del Codice Atlantico, al Manoscritto B, il Codice del volo: tutti scritti molto affascinanti. In uno di questi si possono trovare progetti particolari come la macchina del tempo. Questa invenzione mai realizzata ma riprodotta in un modellino fu per la prima volta estrapolata in 3D dagli scritti di Leonardo. Essa appartiene al Manoscritto B che pare fosse stato scritto tra il 1487 e il1490. Per amor di precisione si trova sui fogli 33v e 34 v. Leonardo era ossessionato dalla ricerca del moto perpetuo. Ambizioso e geniale.Siete amanti di messaggio da decifrare: fermatevi davanti al foglio 881 v del Codice Atlantico ( chiamato così perché la pagina è grande come quella di un atlante). Guardatela bene. Si conteranno ben 54 oggetti sparsi. Provateli a mettere insieme con attento lavoro di ricostruzione. Sapete il risultato? Apparirà sorprendentemente ai vostri occhi il progetto di un sottomarino. Vi rendete conto? Eravamo nel XV secolo! Sono rimasta tutta la mostra incantata come una bambina di fronte a uno spettacolo sconosciuto. Non voglio rovinarvi la sorpresa e vi invito calorosamente a visitare questa mostra. Le attente spiegazioni vi riveleranno delle scoperte dagli scritti di Leonardo che non faranno altro che confermar mare la comune idea: fu un genio.
