Leigh had her Mini Gastric Bypass surgery in February 2022. She sent us this update and we just had to share it with you. Her progress is amazing and she looks fantastic! You can see her new level of confidence shining through!
Here's what she said, in her own words:
"I know it's not an official check in but a friend sent this picture to me and I just stopped in my tracks and cried. Down 115 lbs. Dec 2021-Oct 31,2022. Surgery was February 6, 2022. Almost 9 months PO. I'm doing great and my labs are phenomenal. I don't know who the person on the left is anymore. I never want to meet that person again. Yes, please do share! I want to be a motivational speaker at some point. I feel like it is my new calling after going through this. I wish I had not waited so long to go through this process. I had been dieting since I was 10 years old. I had an eating disorder at 10 years old. That is insane! People should not have to live their life so miserable when there is a tool out there to help them. This is not an easy fix by any means. I have a whole new level of confidence that I never had before. I went hiking last weekend for the first time in over 10 years and it felt great! Thank you so much to the team!!"
