Leeds Fashion Show
Champagne on arrival, goody bags and lots and lots of clothes!
Yes that’s right! Yet another successful Dress Me Beautiful for the Leeds Fashion Show team, proving for the 8th consecutive year that Leeds does in fact have some brilliant talent when it comes to fashion!
Fortunately for the WildChild crew we were able to once again attend the glamorous Dress Me Beautiful event. Held in the majestic Town Hall this year’s show was was just as beautiful as it’s surroundings, with models strutting up and down the catwalkin their glamorous attires. The evening was in aid of the Bethany’s smile charity founded in 2011, by then 12 year old Bethany Hare, whose aim was to support children with life threatening and chronic illnesses. The charity has since received celebrity support including Matthew Lewis (probably known best as Harry Potter’s famous Neville Longbottom!) who is now the patron.
Kem Anyanwu
Hosted by the charismatic Kim Anyanwu, the evening consisted of two parts featuring collections by independent designers as well as boutiques in the local area, some of which included Bo Carter, Zara Mia, Gwein Reid and Charlotte Lucy. Designer of the year award went to Mabel winning the opportunity for the collection to be sold on the Accent Clothing website.
Designer of the Year Award
All in all a fabulous evening for Leed’s Fashionistas and with a charitable cause. Well done Leeds Fashion show! We look forward to what next year’s event will have in store.
