‘Leaked Image’ of the iPhone 6

Posted on the 31 March 2014 by Anna Peterson

Rumors about Apple’s upcoming iPhone model have been flying around for months, even though the smartphone won’t be out before September, 2014. Most of them revolve around the screen size and it’s been said that there will be two versions of the iPhone 6: one with a 4.7in display, the other with a 5.5in one. Now, the folks at NoWhereElse posted an image which, allegedly, originates from a Chinese website and shows the schematics of the iPhone 6.

iPhone 6 Alleged Leaked Dimensions

Do not take the specs too seriously, because it might turn out that this is, in fact, just a rumor.

The image reveals the dimensions of the iPhone 6, which seems to be quite bigger than its predecessor (the 5s), with 150mm in length and 85mm in width. The diagonal display measures around 5 inches, which goes against the previous rumors of the 4.7in and the 5.5in screen.

The iPhone 6 is also said to come with a sapphire crystal coating, a faster and more efficient A8 chip, iOS 8 and a design similar to that of the iPhone 5c – rounded edges, colourful casing etc. It might continue to use the 8-megapixel camera that the 5s and 5c sport, but will definitely have some improvements.

Whether or not the leaked photo turns out to be real, we know one thing for certain: that this will be the biggest iPhone yet. What do you think about the this piece of info?
