Leading Without Complaint

By Shawnaschuh

Leading without complaintSometimes when we move through our day we are confronted with people we wonder about.

A thought that might surface in your mind is, “Really?” It seems I hear that word a lot lately.

As if the person is dumbfounded that another person is acting or behaving in a certain way.

Yet leaders – our theme for this week can refocus this to serve them better!

William J.H. Boetcker said this about leadership:

“The man who is worthy of being a leader of men will never complain about the stupidity of his helpers, the ingratitude of mankind nor the in appreciation of the public.

These are all a part of the great game of life. To meet them and overcome them and not to go down before them in disgust, discouragement or defeat –that is the final proof of power.”

That first line is the best – a person who is worthy of being a leader of men will never complain about his helpers –

The key here is: never complain.

Remember that the only person we have control over is ourselves. As a leader it’s our job to guide, encourage to lead.

If you find yourself surprised today, “Really?” take a breath and know this is the game of life and you control your own thinking.

You Create Your Day by the way You Think! Be Present!

Go make it a Magnificent Day!

Blessings, Shawna
