We wanted to expose the other side of life to our little girl, that not everyone is as fortunate as she is. But our most important mission is to let her know that it is not a crime to be underprivileged and that she should not, at any point of her life, discriminate her less fortunate peers.
And we're proud to say the trip and the mission was a success. We spent quite a while there making friends with the children and subsequently made a small donation.
