Enthusiastic Pakistanis are flouting world records these days. Today over 24,000 Pakistanis stood together to make world’s largest human national flag. Event was witnessed by Guinness Book of World record officials as well. It was a wonderful display of unity which is a rare sight in Pakistan.
According to details a total of 24,200 people lined up in the national hockey stadium /Lahore to make the formation of Pakistan’s national flag. Previously record was held by Hong Kong where 21,726 people participated to form national flag in 2007.
“It’s amazing, amazing display of unity of 24,200 people here in Lahore tonight. Every single one of you holds this record,” Guinness World Records adjudicator Gareth Deaves said
National Hockey Stadium witnessed unprecedented uproar when Gareth announced the World record of making largest human national flag. Pakistan has already created many world records in ongoing Punjab Youth Festival. Earlier in the day event witnessed largest human mosaic built by 1936 students.
