After a long hiatus, Vibe Vixen is back and ready for the digital age. This time, all issues will be delivered online – which is probably reflective of the direction that editorial media is heading.
Vibe Vixen
Gracing the cover for the upcoming issue is Lala Anthony, who is promoting her new show “LaLa’s Full Court of Life” and discussing how her cousin Dice’s homosexuality impacts her and the family.
Excerpt from YBF:
On the topic of LGBT sexuality that arises:
My cousin Dice is a big part of my reality show and what’s important to me about Dice besides, obviously, that being my cousin and one of my best friends, is Dice is dealing with sexuality issues and different things like that. I think it’s important to see things like that on television because you have a lot of people struggling with who they are and trying to find themselves and worrying about if people aren’t going to accept them, and it’s good that we touch on these issues on the show. I think that can help a lot of people.
Even though, I don’t personally “stan” for LaLa – it is nice to hear someone in urban media coming out to discuss LGBT in a positive way. Hopefully, the show will paint a humane picture for those that are struggling with their orientation and serve as a teaching point for those that are ignorant about the subject.
The first issue of Vibe Vixen comes out today! Make sure you go check it out.
