My Experience with Lakme Skin Gloss Winter Intense Moisturising Creme:

Lakme skin gloss winter intense moisturising creme comes in a cardboard purple or maybe royal blue colored box, can’t make out which color it is actually and inside the box is a glossy purple colored tub jar with a silver color screw cap which is very attractive. Though the packaging is quite attractive and travel friendly but is very unhygienic as we have to dip the fingers in the jar to get the cream out and sometimes the cream gets stuck in my long nails which is very tacky and messy.

Lakme Skin Gloss Winter Intense Moisturising Creme Review

The fragrance of this cream is mild and pleasant and I feel it smells somewhat like Lakme pure defense face wash if there was a face wash with this name

Thinking
or basically like some Lakme face wash which I have used earlier but forgot what its name was. I feel that this cream gets absorbed better when applied on slightly damp skin and if it’s applied on dry face, I think it does not provide the much needed moisturization and looks like nothing has been applied though the skin feels soft and not dry or rough but feels that the face needs something, I hope you are understanding me! It keeps the skin soft for a good amount of time probably for 5-6 hours and I don’t feel the need to moisturize my dry skin again and again when I’ve applied this cream but still I feel that this cream is not the best option for extremely dry skin as it’s very mild and does not moisturize heavily. Every skin type can give it a try in winters but extra dry skin may need to apply two coats of this cream to get proper moisturization.

The best part is that it does not feel greasy or oily and can go perfectly under your makeup without making your skin turn an oil factory or greasy. It gets absorbed easily and sometimes I feel that my skin looks glossy and luminous after applying this cream whereas the other times I can’t see that glossy look, don’t know why it is so but I felt this way (two different situation with the same cream). So all in all, it’s a great option for all skin types except for extra dry skin where they may need to apply this cream excessively to get rid of rough and dry skin. When I apply this cream at night, my dry skin does not feel dry or rough when I get up in the morning, I think it takes good care of the dry and rough patches!

Swatches: I have used this cream on my hands prior taking the pics of the swatches, I hope you can see how moisturized they look in the pic below!
