I’m back with a lipstick review from Lakme from its range 9 to 5. I have 3-4 shades from this range but today I’ll be reviewing the shade coffee command from Lakme 9 to 5 Lip Color.

My Take on Lakme 9 to 5 Lip Color Coffee Command:
Packaging: The lipstick comes in a cute cylindrical shaped, shiny beige metallic packaging which is pretty attractive. The cap tightly closes with a snip and it is not prone to scratches even after numerous falls which happens a lot with me that my lipsticks keeps on falling from my hand and the case usually ends up getting scratches.
Texture: I absolutely love the texture of this lipstick, it is matte yet creamy. It is soft matte, glides on smoothly like a creamy lipstick and gives a matte look which is what I love. I’m a matte lipstick girl and this lipstick is totally matte yet smooth and feels comfortable on lips and not drying like most matte lipsticks. It does not settle in fine lines and does not even tug.
Staying Power: It stays on for 3-4 hours straight without a hint of color fading before that. The color does not fade even with meals before 3-4 hours but it transfers a bit which is not much that I want to complain.
Pigmentation: The shade coffee command is well pigmented, with one single swipe, it gives opaque coverage. And you can get more intense color by swiping it multiple times.
The shade coffee command is a peachy nude shade. Not completely nude but with a slight hint of brown color to it. This shade will look good on fair to medium skin tones, it complements my skin tone and looks good on me though I feel it makes me look a little older than my age. I mean it doesn’t make me look girly, or cute rather it makes me look like office apt which I’m still not attending
so as the name of this range says, office stylist, it goes perfectly to the theme of this range and is a perfect shade for office, corporate parties, for teachers and for working women. Though it makes me look a bit old than my age but that does not mean that it dulls out my complexion or make me look sick or dull. It complements my skin tone really well and it’s the perfect brownish nude for pairing with smokey eye look when you want only your eyes to pop out and your lips to be neutral yet prominent. It’s that shade which will complement smokey eyes amazingly balancing out the whole look. This shade is quite similar to the Red Chaos from the same range, there’s only a slight difference in undertones or else both the shades feels quite similar on lips.
