Ladurée Sydney

Last weekend, I went up to Sydney for IMATS. Sunday morning, I woke up with this massive urge for macarons and since so many people has been saying how awesome the macarons are at Ladurée Patisserie, I wanted to try it for myself! I'm a real fan of sweet stuff, I usually need to eat something sweet everyday or I get grumpy. Look how excited I got when I got some! This photo was taken near the toilets in Westfield, a few girls walked past and gave me the wth look lol.
When I first rocked up at Ladurée, I was surprised at how many people are actually lining up. We were in the queue for about 15-20mins, the queue was long mainly females. I guess females are the ones with the sweet tooth lol. They have these cute little candle sets available for purchase, a little on the pricey side but so cute. The lighting at Ladurée wasn't great so I ended up taking a million photos of everything and I had to select the better photos to stick on this blog. I got myself 5 yummy macarons - almond marshmallow, raspberry, pistachio, strawberry marshmellow and the salted caramel. The macarons are priced at $3.20 each, a little expensive compared to others but still quite reasonable. All the good stuff is always in Sydney, why doesn't Melbourne ever get anything good?  Next time, I head to Sydney I will treat myself to more macarons! These are delicious little gems.
