Lactacyd Feminine Hygiene Wash Review

Hi Everyone,

This feminine wash is very popular and recommended by gynecologists. I came to know about feminine wash and particularly this one through a blog. This seems to have Lactic acid or milk extracts and is pH balanced which makes it gentle to your delicate skin and tough on bacteria.

What is Lactic Acid?

Lactic acid is also called "milk" acid. This water soluble liquid is also present in the vulva skin and inside the vagina and keeps its natural environment at its perfect balance. Through this, the good and bad bacteria present in the vagina are each kept at their right levels of production, protecting the intimate area from all kinds of infection. Lactic acid is produced by the good bacteria lactobacilli, whose growth is in turn also facilitated by lactic acid.

The product comes in a cylindrical white plastic bottle with flip open cap. The packaging is travel friendly and good. The cap shuts nicely and doesn't leak. I use this wash at least once everyday in shower or more than once depending on the need for few months. It is pH balanced and gentle and has Lactic acid which is why it is recommended by most of the gynecologist. It lathers well and you need only a small amount every time. It protects delicate area against dryness, itching, irritations and infections all day long.

Lactacyd Feminine Hygiene Wash Review

The fragrance is not overpowering and very strong but feminine and mild, enough to make you feel fresh and clean throughout the day. I have tried this for few months and really liked its creamy texture and smell. It lathers well and doesn't take too much of water to rinse. It doesn't leave any slippery feeling or residue behind.
