I have been lusting over this new release from L'Oreal for a little while and just had to snap it up when I spotted it in Superdrug the other day. L'Oreal have recently released a new line of Color Riche top coats, with Confettis (#916) catching my eye straight away when it first appeared on some blogs. This effect has been likened to that of the new (and beautiful) Illamasqua Speckled polishes, but with nearly £10 of a price difference I'm very happy to have the L'Oreal version in my life instead. Confettis is a clear based polish with black and white speckled pieces of glitter, with these being very matte and flat pieces which is a lovely change. Drying time was great and because the glitter pieces aren't raised you don't need to worry about that horrible feeling of getting something caught in your glitter polish and potentially ruining the look. I'm very impressed with this polish and can imagine it looking amazing over just about any colour, but for now I'll stick with the combination of Confettis and Essie Fiji.
