7.2 L'Huitrerie Regis, 3, rue de Montfaucon in the 6th, 01.44.41.10.07 (but since they don't take reservations.......) closed Mondays and in deepest summer (Metro: Mabillon) has taken me years to get to for no good reason.  It's small (20 covers inside and out), has but one-trick, but what a trick.

To spell some time awaiting our diligent shucker to do his thing, I had a platter of slightly spicy and exceptionally good slices of sausage which taken with superb bread and butter set just the right tone; then 12 Fines de Claires from Papin-Poget from the Bay of Marennes Oléron; ending up with a coffee and two fine mini-cakes.

A bill with a bottle of Muscadet, no bottled water, one shared plate of sausage, two dozen oysters and two coffees would come to 94 E a couple.

Go?  Definitely, if in the mood for oysters.  dB level 76.6 even with lots of ebullient visitors.
