Monday evening, Kimberly Goldson, one of my favorites from Project Runway Season 9 , presented her F/W 2013 Collection from namesake clothing line KIMBERLY GOLDSON at Top of the Garden. Guests sipped chilled Svedka cocktails and nibbled on treats proved by Ideya Latin Bistro (which recently reopened in Brooklyn, a must try!) while satisfying their sweet tooth with specially crafted KG cupcakes from Cherish the Moment.
A rack complete with the bright purple prints and gold leather of the F/W 2013 collection was on display for guests to browse. Fitting areas were convenient for everyone to try their favorite pieces of the collection which was available for purchase that evening.
Lots of celebrating happened Monday evening! The news of the launch of Kimberly Goldson online store , as well as Kimberly’s title as one of the “Leaders of the New School” in the fashion industry given by Essence Magazine AND her spread in the September issue of Essence Magazine had people excited!
