Am I the only one who thinks kids get too many school holidays? Roll on Monday I say when they go back to school after having 2 weeks off for Easter. Two whole bloody weeks because of Eggs, are they for real?
My kids don’t need 2 weeks to eat chocolate eggs, your lucky if it takes them 2 minutes to demolish one.
Yes there are some positives to the kids not being at school, I don’t have to do the manic morning school run;
Have you got your PE kit?
Those socks have a hole in them so change them
Have you got your homework?
Have you brushed your teeth?
That shoe goes on the other foot
And so on
But what do you do to entertain 6 kids for 6 weeks? I run out of ideas, if the weather is nice I can throw them out into the garden and yes I can take them to the park but there are not many free places to visit.
So we have done lots of things at home, that mostly contains mess and my house being upside down.
Last night we did some baking and I am not the baking sort of mum, everything has to come ready prepared in packets and boxes. I can master adding an egg and some water.

They will only be at school a few more weeks and then they have 6 weeks off for the Summer holidays. I am so looking forward to that -NOT
