Khubani Ka Meetha or Qubani ka Meetha| Apricot Recipes
Qubani ka meetha or you can say khubani ka meetha is an Indian dessert which prepared from dried apricots and comes from Hyderabadi cuisine. It’s a traditional recipe which very popular in Hyderabadi weddings. For this recipe, we have to boil the soaked apricots with syrup until they assume the consistency of thick compote or puree form. This dessert is garnished with slivered almonds and served with small scoop of vanilla ice-cream or whipped cream whatever you like. Khubani is Urdu word for apricot. It’s a simple yet most delicious and rich flavored dessert I had tasted. Apricots are good source of vitamins, irons, fiber and more healthy nutrients. In this recipe, I prefer to use golden Turkish apricots which gives bright and vibrant color to dessert.
