When fashion jewelry designer Kendra Scott began creating jewelry in her home eleven years ago, she was certain that her pieces would make headlines and they have. Today, her business has a strong online presence and several major department stores as well as more than 1,000 specialty boutiques around the world are selling her wares. She has celebrities such as Eva Longoria, Cameron Diaz and Sofia Vergara ordering her jewelry designs and her stunning accessories grace famous models strolling down runways wearing the latest fashions by Randolph Duke and Oscar de la Renta.
Love at First Sight
I first fell in love with her pieces when I wandered into the Kendra Scott store in Dallas. I was in a daze as I walked around the shop trying on this and that. The fun costume jewelry was fantastic and the pieces come with lots of options. She has a color bar where you can take any item and see how it would look with a different metal or stones of various colors. It was so cool! Lucky for me that the pieces are super high quality but the prices are very reasonable.

The neatest thing is that I’m engaged now, so I can order all of my own bridal and honeymoon jewelry as well as gifts for the gals in my wedding party from the Kendra Scott site. I can throw different colors at each necklace and bracelet set using the color bar to choose which stones will match the color of the gowns. And on my special day, I will be wearing jewelry from the same designer as some of my favorite celebrities!
