If you’re looking for a brilliant all-in-one system for your child may we introduce you to the Didriksons Kebnats Coverall. The Kebnat is a full body cover for your little ones, giving them great movement but most importantly keeping them warm and dry.The Kebnat features glove loops on each cuff which will mean no more odd gloves!! From a safety aspect this all-in-one features reflective strips on the front and the back so when it starts getting dark you can still keep an eye on them. The Kebnat is also ergonomically fitted meaning your child will have overall better movement, and most importantly be comfortable.
The O’Neill Hawking jacket is a must have for any parent. The bright colours on the jacket make your child stand out on the slopes, so from a safety aspect this is a great feature. Also this jacket suits the type of style that is being worn on the slopes today so it’s cool to wear it for those fashion conscious kids! The jacket uses O’Neill’s Firewall technology. In a nutshell this technology means that the insulation in this jacket is ergonomic so it’s closer to your child’s body, keeping them warmer for longer. The Hawking also uses a grow system which allows you to lengthen the arms by unpicking the stitches making it ready for next year. This is a brilliant feature for those growth spurts. You also still get the usual features, lift pass pocket, removable skirt, media pocket, chin guard etc. But another feature that makes this jacket stand out is the seams. They haven’t just given them a general taped seam, they have given it critically taped seams. This means that the jacket really can be put through its paces and it won’t let you down.
The Helly Hansen Shelter jacket is another jacket to look out for. The Shelter jacket uses high performance fabric which will keep your child dry, protected from the wind and cool due to the breathability. Also, the cuff and bottom hem have been reinforced which means this jacket can be put through its paces, perfect for snow fights and having fun in the mountains. The jacket is covered in reflective elements meaning that even when it starts getting dark, your child can still be seen. The Shelter jacket is also lined for added comfort, is fully seamed to keep your child dry and has great other features like a detachable hood, adjustable cuffs and internal and external pockets.
The Buga Set from Columbia is a perfect match for your little ones. The Buga uses Columbia’s Omni-Heat technology which comprises of silver dots on the inside of the jacket and pant that reflect and retain body heat. Aside from this the set is still nice and breathable so your child won’t over heat. The Buga set also features the amazing outgrown system which allows you to lengthen the hem on the arms and legs by an inch giving you plenty of grow time. The set is also covered in reflective detail keeping your child safe when it’s starting to get dark outside. Finally, it comes with cool other features including fleece-lined zipped pockets, reinforced cuff, seat and knees, adjustable suspenders and leg gaiters as standard.
If you are looking for a cool set of gloves then look no further than the Scott Junior JRTAC 20 Glove. The glove has a regular fit which will give your child great movement when wearing the glove. It has a small top pocket which is ideal for holding small items or possibly a ski pass. The TAC 20 uses neoprene in the cuff which helps prevent snow from getting inside the glove. A great feature for kids is that this glove has a leash, which will allow your child to keep the glove secure on their wrist when taking it off.The TAC 20 has a synthetic leather palm which works nicely with the relaxed fit to give your child better overall movement. And lastly you have a snap tech hook which will allow you (or you child) to secure the gloves when they aren’t being worn.
If you are looking for a new pair of salopettes or snowboard pants than may we suggest the Helly Hansen Rider Bib. Due to the high tech fabric the Riders are fully waterproof, wind proof and most importantly breathable. Also, because of the Bib system you have a secure pocket on the front of the pant which is always handy. This salopette uses PrimaLoft insulation so you can rest assured that your child will stay nice and warm. The rider has a reinforced seat, knee and hem so you really can drag these salopettes about and they will survive. With the rider you also get articulated knees for better movement, boot gaiters and an elastic foot band.
