Just Plain Tired.

By Maddixfamily31 @inthemomentprod

Hello In the Moment readers,
It's been a few days since I've posted anything and there are times I want to sit down and do so but I'm just simply too tired to string together any coherent words by the end of the day.  I try to write a little, here and there, while I'm job hunting.  Never enough time to just sit down and write out an entire blog...unless I do it after the kids are in bed and again, lately, I've just been way too tired.
Anyways, with Noah, as far as the bowel situation goes it has gotten better.  We have switched him to PediaSure and trying to give him as much solids as he'll take.  I don't know why he'll start eating solids and then after a few bites, wants nothing more to do with it.  But he'll down an entire PediaSure.  It's frustrating because I would like to see him eat more solids on a regular basis.  Noah's nutritionist is coming today so maybe she'll have some more advice on what we could do.
Regarding Noah and his doctor's appointment to test him again with that mutated gene they found, I'm still waiting.  They are supposed to call back with a date/time for 3 different appointments for Noah and me to be tested.  I've called them back and all I get is, "They'll call you back as soon as they can."  Waiting simply is the worst.
Sometimes I don't know if I'm going left or right.  I have so much going on and have to remember that if I didn't have my dry erase calendar on the kitchen wall, I wouldn't survive all I need to get done.  But that doesn't mean that I still forget something...on a semi-regular basis.  :)
I'm excited to report that Noah is getting more interactive with his toys!!!  He used to hold a toy for maybe a few seconds, drop it and be done with it.  Now, he'll hold it, wave it around, play with the buttons, etc.  He'll also reach for the toy if he wants it.  This has only been in the last week or so and it's been so much fun to watch him play with his toys.  You're getting there Noah!  That's my boy!!
I know all moms complain about being tired all the time.  I get 6-7 hours of sleep usually, but it never seems enough.  Drinking coffee in the afternoons has been a very new thing for me but one that has been necessary to get through the evening.  When I'm tired, I'm grumpy, and I don't want to be getting too frustrated (even more than usual with a 4 year old and a 1 year old) with my kiddos.  When I lay Bella down for the night, I almost fall asleep with her as we go over the events of the day and ask her what her favorite part of that day was.  I know she loves it, because if I forget to ask, she tells me to ask.
I'm testing out my "Tea and Etiquette with Ms. Goodilia Manners" party with Isabella.  She just turned 4 but she wants her daddy at her party and she just started school so she'll make new friends that I'm sure she'll want to invite so she doesn't mind waiting.  She is a sweet girl!!!  However, because I'm testing out this party on my daughter, I've got party things already set up here and there because as an idea forms, I want to test it out and see how it looks and if I like it, it stays until her party.  I'm having fun with it actually.  It'll be fun to see how it all turns out and of course I'll be posting some pictures on the website afterward!
I would love to make a go of this party business but I can't put all my eggs in one basket.  Hopefully I can find a job soon and do this on the side until it expands.  But I do enjoy forming these ideas in my head and executing them.  However, with medical bills mounting and more headed our way in the next few months, a job is a priority and I'm trying to apply for as many as I can.  Anyone know of anything, send it my way!!
Well folks, I guess that's all I have for now.  I'm going to make another attempt at cleaning my kitchen...and I'm not kidding, Noah just started that fussy cry...[Insert big breath].
Stay in the moment,
Jenna
