Junkmaster Update: Project Complete

By Salvagedspaces @salvagedspaces
Junkmaster Update: Project CompleteA few months ago I set out on a mission to become a "junkmaster." Since even I didn't quite know what that meant, I had to create a curriculum that would make me fit to be a junkmaster (at least how I imagine it).
One of the junkmaster goals was accomplished during our move so this update is well overdue!
Goal #8: Project: Sell one of my salvaged items.

Believe it or not, I did! Someone out there in the world bought our foosboard! Pete had an old foostable that we transformed into a chalkboard/organizer. We listed it on Etsy and, sure enough, someone decided they wanted it!

I know what you're thinking. Really? Someone bought your lousy project? Well, yes! And it's not so lousy when people are paying money for it! Here's proof that it sold.
That's inspired me to post a few "new" items to our Salvaged Spaces' Etsy Shop. We're new to Etsy so please follow us on there (and we'll follow back).

Can I just say that I love Etsy? Sometimes we find some really cool things on our salvage/thrifting hunts that I feel completely obligated to buy. Whether it's a great deal or a really cute object. But we can't always fit everything into our place AND we have a fear of hoarding. So when space gets tight we can run to Etsy to see if someone else wants it. Although we probably shouldn't buy it in the first place if we don't have the space. Don't judge.
