June Ipsy Glam Bag {On the WILD Side} Review

By Sassysweetstyle @ChaniaB

Oh I how I love, love, love ipsy! It makes having to wait 2 weeks after billing SO worth it! I still will never know why it ships from NC to KY to Orlando then another 9 hours back up & west in FL to my doorstep.  That’s the Postal Service for ya I guess! Don’t have an ipsy bag subscription yet? What are you waiting for?! Click here girlie! :)

Anywho, here’s my review! I think this has been my favorite bag yet!

What’s a girl to do with all of these bags they send? I’ll tell ya! Use them to store your sunglasses! It helps keep my inexpensive ones from getting scratched in my armoire since they never come with a case!

J. Cat Beauty Sparkling Cream Palette in Suzie

$4.49 + 25% off coupon

1.  Gorgeous Neutral Glitter Shades.

2.  Hypoallergnic

3. Cruelty Free

4.  Very affordable.

5. Full size.

1. The product will roll up on you unless you prime your lids &/or put a base shadow on{It was much easier to apply with my fingers}.

2.  I don’t usually wear a lot of heavy glitter eye shadows because it’s a nightmare if one of those beauties gets under my contacts….but I guess if I had read ipsy’s site I would know it’s for the body not eye area. WHOOPS!

I would definitely purchase in additional colors, if anything just to have to look at or add to nail polish/lipstick!

Cailyn Linefix Gel Eyeliner Iron

$21 + 30% off coupon

1.  Super easy to apply, just glides right on!

2.  A little goes a long way.

3.  Love that the brush with wonderfully soft bristles  fits inside the cap.

4. Feels very light on.

5. Very smooth texture, not at all goopy like some cream/gel eyeliners.

6. Comes in 13 basic &  fun shades.

7. Full size.

1.  Price tag. I’m used to paying around $6 or less for cream/gel eyeliners.

2. The product together is an awkward size so it won’t fit in my makeup cube.

3. It is a slate color, not blackest of black like I normally use in an eyeliner.

I definitely will be purchasing this in black! I LOVE it!

This is me wearing the eyeliner & Sparkling Cream Palette {middle shade}.

I’m also wearing a double layer of CoverGirl’s Champagne Freeze & e.l.f. Studio Blush in Gotta Glow {browbone}

Sephora Desert Sunset Eyeshadow & Blush Palette in Deep Burgundy {crease}

M.A.C. Ice Parade 6 Snowglobe Eye Shadow Kit {Warm} in Gaelic Gold {lid underneath Sparkling Cream}

*totally paid $15 or $20 for this at the Cosmetics/Fragrance Outlet at Tanger.

Psssst! On-the-Go! Instant Dry Shampoo

1.  Lightweight, talc-free formula soaks up sweat, oils & product buildup.

2.  Inexpensive

3.  Portable

4. Easy to use.

1.  I’ve never been a fan of dry shampoo, so I will be giving this one away.

I wish I had gotten the eyelashes instead, but you can’t win them all!

Starlooks Lip Pencil in Tipsy

$12 + 35% off coupon

1.  Glides on really smooth.

2.  A little goes a long way.

3. A perfect peachy/coral Summer color.

4. Doesn’t dry my lips out.

5. Full size.

6. Can be used as a liner or all over color.

1. Comes off really easily.

2. Price tag.

I would definitely consider purchasing other colors with my discount!

NYX Rouge Cream Blush in Rose Petal

$6 + 15% off coupon

1.  Affordable.

2. Full size

3. Nice neutral shade.

4.  Won’t break because it’s cream.

5.  Easy to blend.

1.  I don’t typically wear cream blush because it’s difficult to blend sometimes, this wasn’t but I had to find a designated brush to blend it with because my fingers were smearing it instead of blending.

I will stick to their powder blushes.

**All & all I was thrilled with this bag! I received $43+ worth of goodies for only $10!**

This is me being excited about my bag!

**WARNING!! Selfies ahead!**

This is me playing around with my Sony Cybershot DSC-H200 without any photo shop just different skin smoothing settings on the camera.  Did I mention it has a hot pink display & was $250?!

What did you get in your ipsy bag?
