June Favourites

By Behindtheseclosedeyes @theseclosedeyes
Are we really finished with June already? I can't believe how fast this month has flown in and this means that I'm over a month into my summer break already which is crazy! As I have stopped making my Friday favourites posts I was looking forward to keeping things together and getting back into the swing of monthly favourites, so here we have my beauty favourites from this past month.
June favouritesJune favouritesSwatches L-R: Sigma Eyeshadow in Shine, MUA Lipstick in Nectar, Topshop Cream Blush in Head Over Heels, Maybelline Colour Tattoo 24hr in Bad to the Bronze
I have had my mind set on a certain style of make-up this month which has basically consisted of a smokey eye with peach and coral hints on my cheeks and lips. This little Sigma eyeshadow sample (*) has been my go-to for a smokey eye look as the black is very blendable and the subtle shimmer looks beautiful when applied. My love for MUA's lipstick in the shade Nectar is constantly growing as I seem to always be wearing this orange shade for a lovely pop of colour, especially with a clear gloss worn over the top. I have found myself reaching for my Topshop Cream Blush in Head Over Heels a lot more this month as I have been loving its natural looking finish and as it is the perfect summer color you really can't go wrong. On the days when I haven't been wearing a smokey eye look, I have instead been reaching for the Maybelline Colour Tattoo 24 hr in the shade Bad to the Bronze as it is a fab all over color on its own and also acts as a great base for powder eyeshadows to be applied afterwards. Lastly I have been loving my little sample of Benefit's The POREfessional as I have noticed a difference in the appearance of my large pores around my cheeks and nose since giving it a go a few weeks ago. What have been your favourites this month?
