June Bloom....

June Bloom....
For the most part, I've never felt right in floral prints. The exceptions are Asian or kimono style prints, which have always exerted an above average gravitational pull on me. Back in my twenties I used to comb the local thrift shops in the smallish town where I lived for old kimonos (which I wore as jackets) but rarely found them. I'd recently seen quite a few kimono style jackets at Zara but didn't like how they looked on me: too much volume that overwhelmed my frame. Until I tried this shorter jacket.

I'm just gaga over this print, and this soft jacket dresses up or down with ease. This isn't a "forever" piece, but it's nice to have a Fun Jacket™ to jazz up wardrobe basics.
