Juicy Chemistry – Coffee, Chocolate & Maca Root Hydrating Face & Body Mask

Surviving this winter was quite a task for me given my combination-dry skin and some additional health condition which ended up aggravating my skin’s inherent dryness. Today I am going to share my experience with this wonderful face mask that helped very well in making my skin super supple and healthy.

This face pack comes in a dry powder form in a plastic tub packing. If you are a coffee lover then you will simply love its fragrance. It smells of fresh coffee with a tinge of orange flavor.
The best thing about this face mask is it makes my skin super hydrated and fresh. I suffered from chronic dryness especially around my nose. My skin felt so dry that at times, the skin started to flake off. It was very tough to handle. Regular weekly usage of this face pack gave the required TLC to my skin.
The only con I could think of is this product melts quite easily that I always end up mixing it with little too much water/milk to make it very watery. It is advisable to use very little water/milk to mix the product. And of course, this is not designed for oily skin.
I have only used it once as a body mask. Even though it is good in moisturizing my skin, I do prefer some additional exfoliation for my hands and feet.
How I use my mask:
I prefer to use it on freshly cleansed skin. Depending on my mood and of course the condition of my skin, I mix the product with few drops of water/milk to make it into a paste. I apply the mixture on my skin preferably in the morning and let it sit for about 20 mins before gently scrubbing it off and washing with warm water.
Since it hydrates my skin very well, it becomes easier for me to apply my makeup and gear up for the day. The fragrance peps my soul to face the morning blues with more vigor.
