Finally the weekend is here! What we all wait for. I hope my last post was helpful to you. My today's review is of a facewash from the brand Jovees. I have not tried anything from them before so this was my first time. It is called as Jovees Strawberry Face Wash. I have used it a couple of times. Let us find out in the review how good or bad it is...
Ingredients: Active ingredients- Strawberry Extract, Jojoba extract, Olivem (hearing it for the first time )
Price: Rs.70/- for 50 ml product. I got it for 56 bucks on discount.
Product description and Method of use:
Ok so let's come to the packaging. Pink!! that was enough to attract me... Lol. Now it is reddish pink according to me. It has a flip open cap, my best preferred and I know most of you do. It does not leak and can be carried easily with you in your purse. One good thing was that the mouth of the face wash was sealed when I got it which I think is great. I mean atleast you know it has not been used by anyone before and you are getting the exact amount. Overall decent packaging.
There are 4 types of face washes that Jovees does sell. This one is meant for normal to dry skin. My skin is oily to combination but lately has turned a bit dry and as winter sets it will get more dry. So I wanted to get a face wash which is hydrating but not intensely because as I mentioned my skin has turned a bit dry not completely. The face wash smells heavenly but strangely I found it does not smell exactly like strawberry but smells like roses too.. Lol. Anyhow the smell is awesome.It contains red beads for scrubbing purposes along with small ones - semolina types. A tiny amount is required and it lathers well, quite creamy I must say. After washing my face I felt the hydration part so plus points for that. I did not get any stretchy feeling. Also the beads help in scrubbing of the face. They are not harsh and are decent enough. One should follow up with a moisturizer I mean those with normal to dry skin girlies. Overall I like this face wash.
The Good:
Inexpensive.
Contains beads which means has scrub like properties.
Hydrates the skin as claimed.
Easily available.
Cute & decent packaging.
The not so Good:
Does not smell exactly like strawberries ( would not have been a con for me though)
May not suit all skin types as it is specifically meant for normal to dry skin.

I did not hear that great reviews about Jovees products n the past but this one surprised me. It is decent enough, smells good and lathers well. Hence I would recommend you to try this if it suits your skin type.
