Finally its the weekend !! One thing to be happy about. The winters have just begun in Mumbai which is a good thing here as the heat here was killing us softly.. Lol After the lipstick review I did of Passionate Pink which many of you liked, I thought I should review this eyeliner from Jordana cosmetics. It is called Jordana Easy Liner for Eyes in BLUE DEVINE. The shade is very pretty.Let us see if it is good enough as well in my review....
Ingredients: No idea.
Price: Do not remember the exact price, somewhere between 120 and 150 bucks.
Quantity: .28g (quite less in my opinion)
The eyeliner comes in the same color as the packaging hence if you have a couple of these you will know easily which one to go for. It has a golden color cap to it. The best part is that it is a retractable one hence no mess.It shuts well and can be easily traveled with. The packaging is nothing spectacular but decent enough.
The eyeliner shade is true to its packaging. When swatched on hand it looks inky blue and on eyes it looks almost like midnight blue, strange!! Anyhow the shade is pretty and glides on smoothly on the lids. It does not contain shimmer, also since it is retractable there is no hassle of sharpening and product wastage. I have used the eye liner more than once to get the desired effect on my eyes. I would not suggest using it on the bottom lash line for the simple reason that it smudges like no one's business. If you check the hand swatch, one swipe and its all gone - very disappointed. Also if you have hooded eyes it may transfer to the area around the brow bone since it is very creamy and sadly does not set like any long wearing eye liner would do. I have seen many American youtube gurus raving about this eye liner and their lip liners. But going by my experience of this one does not seem true at all. May be the formula is better there because I know Jordana does make awesome yet affordable products. Sadly this one did not work the way it should have. The staying power is as long as you do not touch it.. :P
The Good:
Lovely pigmented shade.Creamy and glides on smoothly on the eyelids.
No shimmer.
Decent packaging.
Available in variety of shades.
Retractable hence no need to sharpen and hence no product wastage.
The not so Good:
Availability.Smudges like hell.
Transfers to the upper part of the eye lid for those with hooded eyes/brow bone.Quantity is not enough i mean not even 1g.
Rating:2/5
This eye liner had a great potential of being an awesome product but sadly it did not live upto its mark. I had purchased this quite sometime back and have not checked their products recently. Who knows yes they may have changed the formula. So yes Rads (Radha) Jordana is available in Mumbai :D
I hope you liked my review. Please comment below and let me know if you have tried these. Please do not leave Anonymous comments as I shall not publish them on the blog.
