In early 2013, Foxygen released We Are the 21st Century Ambassadors of Peace & Magic, easily one of the year’s very best. Despite their youth, Sam France and Jonathan Rado have been making music together for eons, it was only a matter of time before the two put their bromance on hold to become solo foxes (hopefully only temporarily). First up is Rado, whose kitschy, cushy pop ballad “Faces” could be the most pleasant listening experience you’ll have all week. Jonathan Rado will release his debut, Law & Order, later this year on September 3.
