Jolly Jewellery: CREEPY CRAWLIES

By Jollygoodstudio @JollyGoodStudio
This is a post I meant to do pre-Halloween but I think insects are something that can work all year round. I'm not a fan of real life creepy crawlies, they give me the heebie jeebies, but when they're made into jewelry form that fear subsides. Here are some amazing pieces that I just might be able to wear with out screaming "GET IT OFF ME! GET IT OFF ME!"....
Jolly Jewellery: CREEPY CRAWLIES
1. Silver Plate Bracelet by Elkin. These little critters look like they're walking around your wrist. A slightly creepy thought but I do love that they are all different colours.
2. Fly Porcelain Necklace from Porcelain Bling. I do enjoy a bit of porcelain in my jewellery, especially when it's used in a statement way like this fantastic fly necklace.
3. Ant Brooch by Nihan Atakan.  This little guy looks like he's ready for a fight. How fun would it be to wear a number of these brooches to make up a little ant procession! I do love jewelry I can play with.
4. Rose and Bee Stacking Rings from Fifth Heaven. These little stacking rings are so cute and the contrast of the gold on silver really makes them stand out.
5. Spider Necklace by Victoria Kelsey. Spiders have to be the creepiest of the crawlies. No matter how many times I watch Charolette's Web I just can't like the eight legged freaks. That said I may be able to cope with this fabulous piece around my neck.
6. Insect Wing Necklace by Aime Plante. Now this one doesn't scare me at all. The delicate wing shape is beautiful and not a creepy crawly leg in sight!
7. Leaf Cutter Ants Pendant from Zippan. I love the use of negative space in this pendant. It looks really effective, especially against a dark background.
8. Moths Statement Necklace from W-Something. This necklace has such a fantastic gold tone and I really enjoy the way the moths are positioned all around the light bulb, it makes me giggle.
