Jolly Jewellery: COPPER

By Jollygoodstudio @JollyGoodStudio
I don't own much copper jewelry. In fact I didn't have any until starting the Precious Metal Clay class at Vanilla Ink. A few weeks in and I am now the proud owner of two copper rings. Working with the copper clay has made me curious about how other designers use copper to create pieces of jewelry. So I decided to go on a little internet hunt and here are some of the beauties I unearthed.
Jolly Jewellery: COPPER
1. Copper Triangle Earrings by Lovely Pigeon. Love the way the copper looks next to these minty hues and triangles are always a winner in my book.
2. Cherry Wood and Copper Pendant from Diane Turner Jewellery. This necklace mixes the reds of the cherry wood and the copper almost seamlessly to create a really striking and unusual looking piece.
3. Three Tone Necklace by Angela Hall. This piece sits high shine copper beside some other metals for an nice oil slick look.
4. Mermaids Treasure Copper Band from Nanfan Jewellery. Copper can sometimes have a bit of an industrial edge to it but this piece shows it can be just as pretty as gold and silver.
5. Raspberry Plum Faceted Ring by Sloane Jewelery Design. The flecks of copper in these resin rings add a lovely bit of sparkle and depth.
6. Geometric Wood Necklace from Maki Y Design. Not exactly copper in the metal sense but, again, I'm enjoying the contrast of the warm tone next to the cool blue.
7. Elytra Beetle Wing Ring by BOHOBO Collective. The colours of the real beetle wing look so beautiful and sit perfectly within the copper ring.
8. Nurse Heartbeat Bracelet from Jane McCrory Jewelery. A simple length of copper formed to make a distinctive and eye catching bracelet.
