The CLARE Foundation started in the late 1960’s when “a group of sober alcoholics began bringing food, blankets, and the message of recovery to homeless alcoholics on the beaches of Santa Monica and Venice. Since then, CLARE has evolved into a multi-site organization with 11 highly effective and cost-efficient residential, outpatient, and prevention programs that serve thousands of adults and young people each year.”
The tribute dinner event will be held on Thursday November 14th 2014. In previous years Stephen Moyer (who played vampire Bill Compton in True Blood) has been honored at this event and now serves as a member on the board of the CLARE Foundation.
