Milan Fashion Week was crazy with gossip yesterday as news broke that Raf Simons will leave Jil Sander as head designer. Speculation that Simons would head up Dior with Sander returning to her own label soon hit Twitter getting me (& millions of others) doubly excited. Half of the nervous anticipation was however confirmed this morning as Suzy Menkes reported that that Jil Sander will return saying she is 'happy to return to the company that bears her name and would take up her role immediately.' Excited? Yes? Me too! So as Simons bids farewell to the brand, all we have to wait for is confirmation of his new role. I really do hope it's Dior, who's your money on?
