The internet is buzzing with the cheating scandal of country singer Jason Aldean who was caught on camera by a celebrity gossip photographer getting close with someone who was not his wife, Jessica Ussery, over the weekend.
Jason Aldean was shot on camera caressing and embracing with former “American Idol” contestant Brittany Kerr at a crowded bar on the Sunset Strip.
The married country star issued a public apology to fans regarding the cheating scandal.
“Hey Guys – I wanted to talk to you directly, so you’re hearing the truth from me and not just reading allegations made about my personal life on gossip web sites,” Aldean wrote on Facebook.
“The truth is that I screwed up. I had too much to drink, let the party get out of hand and I acted inappropriately at a bar. I left alone, caught the bus to our next show and that’s the end of the story. I ultimately ended up embarrassing my family and myself.”
“I’m not perfect, and I’m sorry for disappointing you guys. I really appreciate being able to work through this privately with my family and for all your continued support”, the ‘My Kinda Party’ singer added.
Hours after the pictures of the country star smooching former American Idol contestant Brittany Kerr went viral, a gang of angry Jason Aldean fans BLASTED the singer online — calling her everything from a “skank” to a “home wrecking whore.”
Owing to the cyber-hate flooding in, Kerr had to shut down her Twitter page.
Though Kerr didn’t go home with Aldean, people attacked her online by writing dreadful comments on her Facebook page like:
“Disgusting home wrecking tramp!”
“What is wrong with you taking advantage of a married man while he was drinking?”
Even Aldean was ripped on his Facebook page. But he took to apologizing, stating the whole episode was a result of a bad drunken decision.
Jason Aldean who performed in Southern California for a music festival this weekend married high school sweetheart, Jessica Ussery in 2001 and have two daughters together – Keeley, 9, and Kendyl, 5.
