Overall I thought that the January box was good but not great. I suppose I had bigger expectations from Glossybox this month because it was the first box of 2013 and the launch of Birchbox UK (formerly Joliebox) so I thought they may up their game slightly. Nevertheless I still liked what I received and will definitely get use out of them!

Elemis Fresh Skin- Skin Glow Facial Exfoliator
Firstly, I really love the smell of this product, it is a fusion of cherry powder and jojoba beads so is really fresh and fruity. It is developed to accompany you from your teens to mid-twenties and aims to nurture skin and prevent premature aging. I am always on the look out for new scrubs to try and coming from Elemis which is a brand I have heard good things about, I will definitely give this a go!

Duck Island Limited- Body Lotion in Mandarin & Bergamot
Again, I love the smell of this product, it is a lovely citrus-y scent and the application isn't too heavy so is easy to rub in which I like. The packaging is also very cute.

Jason- Lips Bee Healthier- Full Size
I was slightly disappointed to receive this product but only because it was included in the October Joliebox last year so I already have this lip balm. But I do love this product as it is exactly like Burts Bees products and it contains aloe & beeswax with a distinct peppermint taste.

Monu- Aromatic Mask
This is a warming aromatic facial mask that contains natural clay, lavender and rosemary so has quite a strong scent. I have already tried this mask and my first impressions were very good as you only need a small amount as it covers quite thinly but you still get great results. The mask does warm quite a lot at first so is slightly uncomfortable but does cool down after a few minutes, you then leave it on for 10-15 minutes and then wash off. The product aims to give 'flawless, fresh and incredible complexion' which I think it does to an extent as my face did feel soft and fresh but I wouldn't go as far as flawless!

Premae Skincare- Balance Rescue Face Tonique
This product is designed for combination skin and is a refreshing face toner that mattifies and rejuvenates congested skin. It includes antiseptic lemongrass, sandalwood oil and hydrating rose water to cut through dirt and excess oil. I think this will really help my skin so I can't wait to try it out.

As an extra, they also included a Glossybox-branded sleep mask that has the words "Glossy dreams" printed on it. I thought this was a cute little extra to put in the box!
Overall, the box included some nice skincare products that I will definitely use but with most of them being 30ml in size it wasn't too impressive as Glossybox are known to include quite a few full size products and large samples in their boxes. Hopefully the February box will be better!
