Muzaffar Garh: Local Court awarded three years prison sentence to Jamshed Dasti, a former lawmaker from Muzaffar Garh for using fake degree in 2008 general elections. Court also fined him 5000 rupees and barred him from contesting general elections as well. He was arrested from the court room after the verdict.
Talking to newsmen in Multan on Wednesday Jamshed Dasti announced to withdraw himself over electoral race and announced that nobody from his family will contest elections.
