Jamaat-e-Islami Withdraws Its All Candidates from Karachi

Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) has withdrawn its all candidates from Karachi citing the probable rigging and have announced to observe a peace strike on May 13 to mark the protest.

JI leader Owais Noorani, addressing to an emergency press-conference alongside party chief Syed Munawar Hassan, claimed that rigging has started in all polling stations of the city after which they have decided to pull their candidates out of elections in the metropolis.
