Capturing the story of Jade & John’s Kingston Country Courtyard Barn Wedding, was amongst many return visits to the venue in 2015.
Their day was unique and refreshingly different. They are a young couple with a young family and family is very much, the most important thing to them.
A fact shown openly in the way they celebrated, both in the ceremony itself, along with the friends they shared the party with.

Their two sons played a central role in the ceremony, with the eldest doing a reading and the younger stealing the hearts of all the ladies in the room. His impromptu launching of his soother blanket mid way through the vow exchange, breaking the line of vision between Bride & groom and the ceremony celebrant, causing many in the room to break into hoots of laughter. A classic ‘boys being boys’ moment, thankfully captured by yours truly!
This venue has so much to offer for couples wishing to keep all those family members close, with plenty of on site accommodation. Something that must have been a big thing to Jade and John in choosing the venue.
Their day was rewarded with great weather, enabling guests to enjoy the gardens, the scenery and general location. Time to play games, relax and mingle. Great moments captured of many characters, and golden opportunities where the couple took some time out with their son on the trampoline.
Insights that really reflect their characters, how connected they are with one another and of course their love.
When the evening party, they went for it in style! Would I have presumed any different? Bride and Groom, both children close, friends and family surrounding them all. This is a strong family with all the support they could wish for!
