Most kids are shy in front of the camera.  But Kylie was NOT shy.  At all.  We first got our camera on her when she was an adorable flower girl in Adrienne & George’s wedding.  As Adrienne got ready, she came up to me and asked me to take a few photos of her, then as every kid loves to do, asked to see them on the back of my camera so she could see herself.

Her parents then booked her her own portrait session, and once we brought out our cameras at the shoot, Kylie was ready to go again working it for the camera.  My favorite line of the day was when she blurted out, hand in the air, wrist back,”I’m freaking fabulous!”  Or maybe it was when she put her hand on her hip and said, “Look, I’m posing like a fashionista.”  Though only 7, her mom told us that she is already obsessed with playing with make up and painting her nails, so we brought a little bit of that girly glam into the style of her shoot.  She also loves the beach, so we had a fun time finishing up with some splashing in the water as she ran around.

Here’s some of our favorites from the day of the fabulous Kylie!  Though we are mainly wedding photographers, we love from time to time to also take on these fun portrait sessions!  Let us know if your family or child would like to book a playdate with our camera before they go back to school!
