Have you ever tried to raise your eyes to the sky and think that over your heads there is a wonderful world? I have always said that the humans are not the protagonists of this world but only small actors in a much wider world . If we raise our eyes to the sky this season ,we will witness the migration of the birds. Italy , now is the bridge for the birds’ migration to Africa. We are talking about a long travel that will bring our friends, from one continent to another. Italy is a bridge where to stop and have a little break in this long travel . urely we can see the migration of the swallows. Their autumn departure announces to us that the summer is over. When they will come back they will announce the return of the spring . This phenomenon is clearly visible ! The places where you will find most of these travelers are the Italian islands ( from the large to the small ) and the Alpine passes . In addition to birds that pass only to go to Africa, there are some that choose Italy for the winter . Many migratory birds are changing their habits and they stop in the southern of Italy instead to go in Africa for the winter. This is due to ongoing climate change that we have all over the globe and the new dangers lurking. What birds can we admire in Italy during the migration in Autumn ? The wood pigeon, the robin redbreast, the cormorant , the great white heron , the wild goose- just to name a few. At this point, take your camera and look to the sky.

Avete mai provato ad alzare gli occhi al cielo e pensare che sopra le vostre teste c’è un mondo meraviglioso. Io affermo sempre che noi uomini non siamo i protagonisti di questo mondo ma solo dei piccoli attori in un ambito molto più ampio. Se alziamo gli occhi al cielo in questa stagione saremo testimoni della migrazione degli uccelli. L’Italia, in questo momento è il ponte per la migrazione verso l’Africa. Stiamo parlando di un lungo viaggio che porterà i nostri amici, da un continente all’altro e siamo un ponte in cui fermarsi e prendere un po’ di fiato. Sicuramente assistiamo al passaggio delle rondini: la loro migrazione d’autunno ci annuncia che l’estate è terminata e il loro ritorno in primavera ci mette gioia. Questo fenomeno è chiaramente visibile! I luoghi dove troverete maggiormente questi viaggiatori sono le isole ( dalle grandi alle piccolissime) che circondano l’Italia e i passi alpini. Oltre agli uccelli che migrano per raggiungere l’Africa ve ne sono alcuni che hanno scelgono l’Italia per svernare. Ovviamente dato il continuo cambio climatico che stiamo vivendo a livello globale e nuovi pericoli in agguato anche molti migratori stanno cambiando le loro abitudini ed alcune specie si fermano anche in sud Italia invece di prolungare il viaggio. Quali uccelli potrete ammirare in Italia in Autunno? Colombaccio , il pettirosso, il cormorano, l’airone bianco maggiore, l’oca selvatica solo per citarne alcune. A questo punto basta prendere la macchina fotografica in mano e alzare il naso al cielo.
