I reviewed two books this week.
I’m recommending Your Playlist Can Change Your Life by Galina Mindlin, Don Durousseau, and Joseph Cardillo to everyone who loves music and ever has a need to consciously change a mood or attitude: Book Review: Your Playlist Can Change Your Life.
The conversation in the comments of the review of French Women Don’t Get Fat by Mireille Guiliano was as enlightening as the book: Book Review: French Women Don’t Get Fat by Mireille Guiliano. I also drew my Wondrous Words Wednesday post from that book, featuring some interesting French phrases.
I finished The Gospel According to Coco Chanel by Karen Karbo. I’ll write about that for a Dreaming of France post next week.
Reading
As always, I’m slow reading the e-book on my phone, but I’m enjoying spending time in this fictional version of Boston as I read Fair Game by Patricia Briggs.
I started and, now, nearly finished Divergent by Veronica Roth. I know I’m probably the last person in America to read this book. Now I see why everyone was so excited about it.
Will Read
What’s next? I’ll want to get back to Chocolate and Zucchini and I’m guessing that I’ll want to pick up the next book in the Divergent series.
