In case you missed it, I had a piece published on Huff/Post50 over the weekend! Check out A Librarian’s Tips for Healthy Holiday Parties. Please click, comment if you want, and share! And thanks to the many people who have already done that.
Read
I finished From Notting Hill with Love…Actually by Ali McNamara and really enjoyed it. It’s not a Christmas read, but with Love Actually making an appearance now and then, it really worked for me. We watched Love Actually on Friday, which was our anniversary. So, that all dovetailed very nicely.
After that, I wanted Christmas stories, so I read a collection of historical romance novellas, Mischief and Mistletoe. The headline authors are two of my favorites, Mary Jo Putney and Jo Beverley, so no surprise that my favorite story was Beverley’s with fun romantic escapades during a country house Christmas gathering.
Reading
I’m still reading and enjoying Culinary Intelligence by Peter Kaminsky. He’s giving this librarian some new tips and tricks for maintaining weight.
My fun read right now is The Search by Nora Roberts. I’ve had a long-time fantasy of working with a search and rescue dog. The dream was thwarted because I’m allergic to dogs. Reading about them doesn’t make me sneeze, though.
Will Read
What’s next? Who knows? I’ve got a day or two to figure it out.
What are you reading?
