It's been a long time since I've been excited to get dressed up and go to church. The church that I've began attending here in Lynchburg (Blue Ridge Community) is amazing and so welcoming. The people are friendly and the pastor and assistant pastors are amazing. Their sermons make me want to keep coming back. It's such an encouraging environment.
I picked up this dress at J.Crew not too long ago in hopes that it would work for either an interview or something fabulous. Church was the perfect place to debut the simple and structured look. I love the paneling in the front, it gives more of the hourglass impression and we all know that's a good thing. The navy is always a classic and muted look, which provides the perfect setting to accessorize (which obviously I did.) I am so thankful for these changes being made and to finally have a church that I look forward to calling home, at least for the next year of my life (before the move.) And yes there's a chance these were taken with my phone (shhh...)xoBCCLifestyle Magazine
