Miraculous Beginnings
The story of the Miracle Broth™ and the legendary Crème de la Mer is one of hope and perseverance, meticulous science and the restorative powers of the sea that began with an accident and ended with a miracle. Half a century ago, aerospace physicist Dr Max Huber suffered burns in a laboratory accident and began a personal quest to transform the look of his skin.
The Miracle Broth
Dr Huber believed the sea was a miraculous resource and sea kelp captured his imagination. With potent nourishing properties and an endless ability to regenerate, it held promise and hope. He hand-harvested and fermented kelp gently with simple, pure ingredients, infusing them with light and sound until they became the Miracle Broth™, soul of the cream that renewed and helped restore the look of his skin. The Soleil de la Mer™ Collection
Inspired by Dr Max Huber’s love of the sea and the reparative energy sources he found in nature, The Max Huber Research Lab has developed the first in-sun collection from Crème de la Mer. Luxurious and deeply nourishing, The Soleil de la Mer™ Collection allows for a soft, glowing complexion while delivering potent anti-ageing benefits and helping defend the skin from environmental aggressors. The Reparative Face Sun Lotion SPF 30 and The Reparative Body Sun Lotion SPF 30 have been engineered for high performance in-sun protection that helps defend skin against UVA and UVB light, helping prevent future skin damage, while hydrating and renewing the look of skin after past damage. The Face and Body Gradual Tan gives skin an even, natural-looking glow while also providing long-lasting hydration. The Soleil de la Mer™ Collection has been designed to defend skin against the appearance of premature signs of aging while renewing the appearance of existing damage for a healthy-looking, luminous glow.
Continuous Renewal
To boost the rejuvenating power of The Miracle Broth™, The Soleil de la Mer™ Collection contains the Golden Algae Ferment, which helps renew the look of skin during and after time spent in the sun. The Golden Algae Ferment is formulated with Laminaria Ochroleuca, also known as ‘Golden Algae,’ marine peptides and a blend of sea botanicals. Golden Algae, found off the Brittany coast in France, thrives in harsh conditions including intense sun and salty waters. These environmental stresses have made the restorative powers of the Golden Algae stronger, enabling it to help reduce the appearance of irritation, prevent moisture loss and balance pH. This unique algae is an excellent anti-ageing ingredient as it also helps skin support its natural collagen and helps protect the look of skin. The Golden Algae Ferment works both during and after UV exposure to help reduce the look of redness. Marine peptides help firm the look of sagging skin and support skin’s natural collagen, reducing the appearance of lines and wrinkles. Additionally, a blend of sea botanicals including red algae are incorporated into The Golden Algae Ferment to even the look of skin tone after time spent in the sun. Restorative Protection
The Soleil de la Mer™ Collection also contains The Restorative Waters, a blend of leafy brown algae, Lime Tea Extract and Deconstructed Waters™. Known for its rich anti-oxidant properties, the leafy brown algae, Alaria Esculenta, works in conjunction with Crème de la Mer’s powerful Lime Tea Extract and other anti-oxidants like Vitamin E, to help protect and revitalise the look of skin. To provide targeted delivery of the formula while also enhancing its activity, the Deconstructed Waters™ carry positively and negatively charged waters to the skin. Attracted to skin cells of the opposite charge, these water clusters drive the potent ingredients directly into the skin’s surface to help intensely improve the look of skin.

The Reparative Face Sun Lotion SPF 30
To use: Apply to face, neck and décolleté 30 minutes before sun exposure. Reapply at least every two hours or after swimming, perspiring or towel-drying.
The Reparative Body Sun Lotion SPF 30
To use: Smooth over body 30 minutes before sun exposure. Reapply at least every two hours or after swimming, perspiring or towel-drying.
The Face and Body Gradual Tan
To use: For a soft, natural-looking glow without sun exposure, smooth evenly over freshly cleansed and exfoliated skin. Wash hands after use. Apply once a day or until desired tan is achieved.
