Happy St. Patrick’s Day
Top o’ Monday to ya! Hope everyone has a very lucky day. If you need a little last minute St. Patrick’s Day flair around your house be sure to print off my free St. Patrick’s Day printables here.
Speaking of all things green, I’m loving green chalkboards these days like the ones I used as backgrounds for St. Paddy’s Day printables. Green is the new black!
Of course, I have a few of the old standby black chalkboards around my house like this one I made from an ikea mirror.
It’s on the side of my kitchen cabinets and it’s the perfect place for my kiddos to practice their spelling words while I make dinner.
And this one I made from a thrift store frame.
But the green chalkboards really have that vintage school room feel that I love.
Add a little green to your decor scheme with an old school chalkboard. This is one of my favorites! Its perfect for our book bag dumping ground by the front door. It won’t be long before I start counting down the number of days until summer vacation on this chalkboard.
I have everything tied together with this vintage style wrapping paper from Cavellini Papers & Co. in Ikea frames. They are way too pretty to use as wrapping paper. I am hoping to start carrying these in my booth at Shabby Creek soon.
So on this St. Patrick’s Day think of how you can incorporate a little pop of green into your decor. Especially using green chalkboards. It’s a new neutral that goes with everything!
