Inspiration : Rush Hour

By Pragyasharma57 @pragyasharma57
One thing that describes Gurgaon the best and  it is ubiquitous: Traffic Mayhem : Unanimous answer for anyone who drives and survives the crazy driving of Gurgaon-wallas especially during rush hours. Must stop chastising because I am too one of them, finding one's way wherever there is a tiny amount of space.:)
So this crazy traffic was my source of inspiration. I was given a gray colored cloth already cut out for making a kid's top. So I had to adjust with this amount of piece only.
First, I made a small abstract car(Ambassador was running in my mind). And then cut it. Make sure you use a very hard board because it would get drenched every time you paint. I used Choksi board ( Available at selected shops only!)  You can use Ivory sheet also.
I used black acrylic paint as it was going perfect with the gray. You may use white, red, neon yellow also. Before starting, place a newspaper at the bottom of cloth so that it may soak the paint and doesn't spoil the floor. Also draw some fine parallel lines with a cloth chalk for proper placement of car stencil.
INSPIRATION : RUSH HOUR
Start painting. Use no or minimal amount of water. Preferable if you don't use any.
After you have finished painting both the front and back sides, leave it to dry and then iron the cloth over the painted pattern. This is to avoid the paint from getting removed after being washed.
After my cloth was ready, I stitched it and the rest is history! So this was my final outcome!!
