In these posts, I will showcase products that I believe are really innovative. I love finding products that push the boundaries of “normal.” These companies/products have come up with awesome concepts. I really love new inventions and testing new concepts. Up first, is LIT NYC. LIT NYC was inspired by “wearable technology and a city that never sleeps.” Their lines consists of nail polishes and lip glosses that have a very unique feature…they LIGHT UP! Both products include LED lights in the cap to illuminate the product and make application easier. Keep reading to find out more about these products and see swatches!
LIT NYC NAIL POLISH:
These nail polishes are so awesome. I love that they have a LED light in the cap. It really helps for easy application. I usually paint my nails at night when it is really dark and hard to see. The LED light helps me to see exactly where I am applying nail polish. It is also so much fun to use. These would make awesome gifts and awesome products for yourself. There are 24 colors so I am sure you can find a color you will like. I have never seen nail polish with LED lights until now and I must say I love it. They were also featured in PopSugar’s 35 Standout Drugstore Launches of 2016 So Far. They retail for $7.50 each and have a high shine finish. Note: They are free of formaldehyde, camphor, DBP, formaldehyde resin and toluene.
LIT NYC LIP GLOSS:
The lip glosses are also so much fun and feature the same LED lights in the cap. They also have a mirror on the side for easy and precise application. You can really use these lip glosses anytime and anywhere without having to worry. The glosses are very shiny and come in two formulas…sheer and cream. They come in 12 shades. The glosses are so shiny and look beautiful on the lips. I love all the shades I received. My favorite is probably the fuchsia shade in the middle. They are so easy to apply and last for a very long time. They are a very wet and creamy formula (a true lip gloss). My lips felt very comfortable and even a bit hydrated. They also smell like vanilla cupcakes which is amazing. I can’t believe you can find these awesome products in the drugstore.
