For this week's Indie Sunday, meet Victoria of Serum No. 5!
When did your love for polish begin?I've been playing with polishes for as long as I can remember. My aunt used to work in a nail salon and I started frankening, making my own little bottles of translucent colors. But my love for polish really began a few years ago. It was my last year of law school and nail art was something I could do as a stress reliever. I've been hooked ever since.
What made you decide to start your own polish line?I've always been an artsy and crafty person and like I mentioned earlier actually began mixing my own colors at an early age. It was always something I wanted to do early on, but school got in the way, so I just made polishes for my friends as gifts. A few years later when I finally had some free time, my boyfriend encouraged me to just do it and I'm so glad I did!
What's the inspiration behind the colors you create?Anything and everything! I definitely follow the color trends from fashion and nature.There’s so many great color combinations that it would be hard to not get inspired.
How many polishes do you have in your stash?The last time I counted I had 559... but I bought more... and will continue to buy more :)
What's your favorite polish brand? (Besides your own, of course)I have so many it's so hard to pick a favorite! My favorites though are OPI and Essie.
